CLAVIS is a Web-based online management system that is specialized digital cinema distribution in Japan. Based on Japanese distributors and exhibitors demands, it provides the most appropriate workflow of digital cinema distribution for Japanese users. They can access it using their Web Browser through the internet without preparing some plug-in tools and setting some complex network configurations.
CLAVIS has a database which manages and shares the latest information of digital cinema screens in Japan. Users are able to access the theater database maintained by IMAGICA in order to register and view the latest information of digital screen installations and screening equipment in Japanese theaters efficiently.

Distributors are able to register the information of feature contents, booking theaters and screening periods, and confirm the status DCP/KDM delivery efficiently. Moreover, they can manage issuance of KDM based on the latest information on the theater database, and re-issue KDMs via CLAVIS, responding to the change of equipment between theater screens or extension of screening period.

Exhibitors are able to register and update the latest information and specification of their own theaters, screens and screening equipments. Moreover, they are able to confirm feature contents and booking information registered by distributors, and the status of DCP delivery and expiration dates for KDMs. And, they can also download the issued KDM files on CLAVIS safely and efficiently.
In order to use CLAVIS, it is necessary to register a login account and password. CLAVIS are able to assign the access permission, like “editing” or “only reference” for each account. It is possible for users to use the system smoothly and flexibly depending on their business situation.
